The employee group entry page allows you to enter a group name and the limits and authority to be given to all employees who will belong to this group.
Here's a screenshot of the employee group entry screen.
1. Group Name | Group's name. (based on job function) |
2. * Max Wth Amt | Maximum withdrawal amount. |
3. * Var Limit | Variance allowed between amount requested and amount reported by host. |
4. * Auth Wth Amt | Authorized withdrawal amount. (when authorizing another employee) |
5. * Auth Var Limit | Authorized variance limit. (when authorizing another employee) |
6. Unlock Employee | Set to "YES" to allow an employee to unlock another employee's jackpot access. |
7. Status | Set to "Active" if this group is ready for use. |

An employee when withdrawing cash from a machine (on their own) is limited to the "withdrawal amount" and "variance limit" imposed by the employee group they belong go

Empl #1 withdraws $400. This is OK since it's within their
maximum withdrawal amount of $500. |

Empl #1 needs to withdraw $402.25, but withdraws $405, since the machine
low on coins. This is OK, since within limit.

An employee who needs a higher withdrawal or variance amount to process a jackpot, can get an override from an employee in a group with a higher * authorized withdrawal amount. The authorizing employee must swipe their card and enter their password at the machine.

Empl #1 needs to withdraw $700. If Empl #2 authorizes, then he can withdraw
up to $1200. (Empl #2's authorized withdrawal amount) |

Amount posted is $500. Amount on slot machine is $512.
If Empl #2 authorizes then variance of $12 within Empl #2's
auth variance limit.

Notes: | 1. | * Employee in SAME group cannot authorize, since they BOTH would have the SAME authorized withdrawal amount. |
