Here's a screenshot of the employee group entry screen.

5. * Auth Var Limit Authorized variance limit.  (when authorizing another employee)
6. Unlock Employee Set to "YES" to allow an employee to unlock another employee's jackpot access.
7. Status Set to "Active" if this group is ready for use.

Note  Note:  1.  * All values in these fields is in CENTS!  This means that 150000 is actually $1500.00.
2.  * See "Employee Limits" and "Authorization Limits" below for examples of how limits are applied.

Employee Limits

An employee when withdrawing cash from a machine (on their own) is limited to the "withdrawal amount" and "variance limit" imposed by the employee group they belong go

employee group #1 employee group #1
Empl #1 withdraws $400. This is OK since it's within their maximum withdrawal amount of $500.
employee group #1
Empl #1 needs to withdraw $402.25, but withdraws $405, since the machine low on coins. This is OK, since within limit.

Authorization Limits

An employee who needs a higher withdrawal or variance amount to process a jackpot, can get an override from an employee in a group with a higher * authorized withdrawal amount.  The authorizing employee must swipe their card and enter their password at the machine.

employee group #1 employee group #1
Empl #1 needs to withdraw $700. If Empl #2 authorizes, then he can withdraw up to $1200. (Empl #2's authorized withdrawal amount)
employee group #1
Amount posted is $500. Amount on slot machine is $512. If Empl #2 authorizes then variance of $12 within Empl #2's auth variance limit.

Note  Notes:   1.  * Employee in SAME group cannot authorize, since they BOTH would have the SAME authorized withdrawal amount.
2.  * It is possible (though unlikely) that Empl #1 has a higher authorized variance limit.  If so, their limit would apply.
