The machine group is used for filtering machines in the "monitoring/machine status", "remote administration" and "report" sections.
Each machine group belongs to a property. You cannot have two machine groups in the SAME property with the SAME name; however, you can have two machine groups belonging to two different properties with the SAME name.
You can now ADD parameters to a machine group. The parameters added will affect all machines within that machine group. (see Update Machine Group for more info)
Here's a screenshot of the machine group list for the current property.

| 1. Machine Group | Machine group name. (click to update machine group) |
| 2. Description | Description of the machine group. |
| 3. Delete | Select checkbox for any record you wish to delete. |
| Click add new button to add a new machine group. | |
| Click clear button to de-select all delete checkboxes currently selected. | |
| Click submit button to delete records selected.  (user queried before deletion) |
| Note: | The underlined column headers are sortable fields.  (You can toggle between ascending and descending sorts) |

Here's a list of the machine status codes.
